Virgin Hair 101
Many are not educated properly about the hair that they purchase in the local beauty supply stores. Most hair that these stores carry is not %100 pure virgin human hair. This hair has been processed and manufactured for mass production. The hair feels and looks nice at first, but after wear, shampooing and everyday heat, it becomes brittle, dull, and begins to tangle and shed.
Purchasing hair extensions can be expensive and you want your hair to be more of an investment than an expense. Virgin Hair gives you that option. As it's name states Virgin hair is "really" %100 straight from the donor, pure human hair. Donors from all over like India, Malaysia, Brazil and many other countries have tapped into this growing market. This hair has never been processed. All the cuticles are left in tact and are wefted unidirectional.
The hair pictured is virgin Malaysian Bodywave. The hair has been colored on the ends at the salon. As you can see it goes from curly to straight and holds a curl for hours. Many other textures are excellent matches for African American hair. All virgin hair can be colored to your specifications. If you would like to color the hair it is recommend that you purchase natural color only. Most virgin hair can be worn curly or straight, and hair that is straight only. For layers or volume choosing different lengths is recommended. For example; if you want to purchase 14' hair but desire layers or more volume toward the top get one bundle of 12' also. Or for length and volume 12',14',16' would best achieve that look.
